Lorraine O’ Keeffe

Lorraine graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2005 with a 2:1 degree in Orthoptics and was awarded the MacGalliard Prize by the University. She has 10 years experience working full time as an Orthoptist.

She worked in Beaumont Hospital Dublin for 2 years in neuro-ophthalmology and orbital clinics.

In 2007 she spent a year working in the US at Boston Children's Hospital where she saw a lot of complex paediatric and adult strabismus. Followed this Lorraine worked for 4 years in Waterford Regional Hospital and South East community care centres seeing a mix of children and adults.

Lorraine currently works as a Senior Orthoptist in the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hopsital/ Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin since January 2012. She also has a private clinic at the Institute of Eye Surgery in Whitfield Clinic, Waterford.
