Dr. Ibrahim has a special interest in medical retinal and chronic eye disorders.

Dr. Ibrahim graduated from University of Leicester in 2002. Having trained at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, Our Lady’s Hospital in Crumlin, St. Vincent’s Hospital Dublin, Waterford Regional Hospital and Cork University Hospital, Farah brings over 12 years of ophthalmology experience to the Institute of Eye Surgery.

Farah was responsible for running the Diabetic Retinopathy Treatment Centre (part of the National Diabetic Screening Service Ireland) at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital from 2013 to 2020.

Dr. Ibrahim also has a Professional Diploma in Project Management and has completed a Green Belt course in Lean Six Sigma.

Dr. Ibrahim was certified by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (UK) in 2010 and the European Board of Ophthalmology in 2012. She is an active member of the Irish College of Ophthalmologists and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in the UK.
