Research & Publications
The Institute of Eye Surgery (In collaboration with EyeLab) engages in world class ocular research and attracts the very best academic research talent that Ireland currently has to offer. EyeLab is a commercial entity involved in the procurement and exploitation of funding for ophthalmic innovations and research. Collectively, IoES specialists have published over 300 peer reviewed journal articles in leading eye publications, further advancing our knowledge and understanding of complex eye disease and therapeutics. IoES has also filed numerous technology patents and successfully spunout and exited the intellectual property rights of a multi-million euro granted cataract biometric device.
