Professional highlights: Having initiated Ireland’s first dedicated Ocular Surface Disease clinic at IOES, Nikolina is now a devoted expert in Ocular Surface Diseases and member of the prestigous Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society.

Career: With nearly 20 years of experience in ophthalmology, Nikolina is an active member of several eye health organisations European Society of Cornea & Ocular Surface Disease Specialists (EuCornea), Irish College of Ophthalmologists, Croatian Ophthalmological Society, and the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS). Nikolina has developed a very successful intense pulsed light service by utilising one of the best systems available at IOES.

Passionate about: Always educating and raising awareness, Nikolina takes her expertise beyond the clinic. She has made many appearances on Irish television and radio, sharing insights about Ocular Surface Disease. Nikolina’s enthusiasm for education has also taken her to numerous medical conferences worldwide.
